Outside Sales Representative

Mocker and Associates, a specialty provider of industrial equipment and engineering products, is seeking a motivated and driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team in St. Louis, MO. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. You will be responsible for selling a diverse range of products and equipment to industrial users, manufacturing plants, processing plants, railroads, OEMs, and consulting engineers across the Midwest region.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct sales visits and meet with existing and potential customers within the assigned sales territory.
- Identify customer needs by understanding their manufacturing processes and requirements.
- Provide product recommendations and solutions to customers, leveraging our wide range of product lines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
- Develop new business opportunities by prospecting and acquiring new customers in the industrial manufacturing space.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate product demonstrations, technical support, and after-sales services.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in the industrial manufacturing sector.
- A general understanding of industrial processes, manufacturing plants, and related equipment is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and support decision-making.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned sales territory (Midwest region).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, preferably HubSpot or similar tools.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Other Information:
- Office located in Chesterfield, MO
- When not traveling, the team is in the office Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM
- Travel territory includes but is not limited to Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Nebraska, Iowa, and Arkansas.
